Message from your Sports Captain

Well done to all of those children who’ve kept active at home during the last few months following our @home PE lessons. You’ve done your hearts and your heads a great deal of good!

There have been many online resources available for parents and teachers to help with keeping their children fit during lockdown, and I have been keeping track of the top ones. Please find below details of the sports websites in question. Encourage your daughter to explore the resources with your guidance of course, and make sure she has any medication she needs to hand if necessary before she begins! These can be enjoyed right throughout the summer months and hopefully the girls will be ready and willing to take up their PE lessons with renewed vigour in the autumn term!

www.chancetoshine.org Cricket website. Go to the ‘staying active during COVID 19’ page for fun ideas to support bowling, batting and fielding skills.

www.youthsporttrust.org go to the ‘support for parents’ page. There is guidance on emotional wellbeing and being active at home ideas.

www.plprimarystars.com  premier League primary stars website. Go to the ‘home learning’ section where you will find physical activities and challenges as well as English and Maths activities.

Head’s Talk & Tours

Throughout July and August, our Head, Miss Woodcock, is inviting future Charlotte House families to safely meet with her on our School site for a socially-distanced tour of our incredible school and an informal talk about your daughter and her education.  Please contact office@chpschool.co.uk to make an appointment.
