Despite being unable to take part in the IAPS National Swimming Finals this month due to covid 19, the results from the qualifying rounds held earlier in the year have been published for schools to see how their swimmers faired nationally. It is with great pride that I can reveal that Libby, Zahra, Megan, Amelie, Tanishka, Talia, Justine and Isabella qualified second fastest in the small schools 8x25m freestyle relay. An amazing achievement and a reflection of all the hard work and effort they have put into training this year. Their individual results were also impressive, with many of  the squad ranking in the top half of each event.

We await to see what the Autumn term will bring in terms of training and competition, but I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the swim team for their dedication and positivity as we look forward. Thanks also to the parents for their support over the years, ferrying children to galas, suffering heat exhaustion in the viewing galleries and for getting their children to early morning training; you all deserve a medal!

I want to wish our form VI girls the best of luck for the future. You have achieved great things and have inspired so many of our younger girls at Charlotte House. Thank you.
