We had a thrilling and enjoyable day yesterday when Rubicon Action Sports and their coach Alex came to introduce the exhilarating, adrenalin fuelled sport of skateboarding to our girls. To witness the joy on the girls faces when they learnt a new trick was a thing to behold. Whilst the sport offers a great way to maintain a healthy active lifestyle, as well as boost confidence, determination and perseverance, it is also fantastic fun (as Mrs Joiner will agree!) We are lucky to have a number of skateparks in our local area, not least Watford skatepark which is an amazing new facility where you can practise your skills, take group lessons and enjoy being part of a friendly inclusive sport.
