On Monday a team of Form V and VI runners went to York House school for their annual cross country invitational. Though the muddy terrain underfoot was typical of cross country conditions, the weather was kind and the event managed to go ahead without the usual January wind and rain! It was a gruelling and hilly 1.8km course but the team worked hard and fought for every place. Annabel was our top placed runner, finishing a fantastic 9th place, with Neve and Chloe finishing closely behind in 10th and 13th respectively out of a field of nearly 50 runners. Congratulations also to Hannah, Isha, Rebecca, Mahi and Anaya who contributed to a tremendous third place team finish overall.
