Our inaugural Skylark balloon debate took place with an eclectic mixture of book characters on board. They included Matilda, Charlotte the spider and Wilbur the pig from Charlotte’s Web, Sonny Baudelaire, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, Clarrie from Skylarks, James from the Giant Peach, Hermione Granger and Rapunzel from the Twisted Tales series. The girls debated brilliantly and sometimes fiercely to decide who should be thrown out of the balloon when it was starting to sink rapidly! Very well done to all who took part.
