On Saturday the Charlotte House ESSA finalists travelled to Sheffield for the Primary Schools National Team Championships. In what was a fiercely competitive category, they faced tough opposition from teams representing every region in the country. In the medley relay the team comprising Sophie, Chloe, Elodie and Neve qualified 15th fastest and finished 8th in the B final, beating their previous best time by nearly 10 seconds! The freestyle relay was an even tougher event but a personal best time was again achieved by Neve, Grace, Hattie and Chloe. Whilst they did not make the final, they showed how courageously they handled their nerves during this big occasion and I could not be more proud of them and the whole squad. Thank you to all who came to watch and to our coach Sarah who has worked tirelessly with the team all year. Bring on Sheffield 2024!
