Tuesday was a special day for Reception and Form I because an illustrator called Joelle Avelino came to visit them. She read a story that she’d illustrated called, ‘Mama’s Sleeping Scarf’ and we all agreed that it was a lovely story. After she read it, she showed the girls how to draw the main character called Chino. The girls had a go too and the pictures they produced were remarkable. The illustrator and the ladies from Chorleywood Bookshop were amazed by their drawing skills and their behaviour too. Well done girls!
