Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I visited Form V today to preside over their court case about a local landowner who had walled in the common land. Each member of the class presented her speech and Her Majesty pronounced judgement at the end, much to the annoyance of the local farmers! The evidence used came from Form V’s class text this term, “Cue for Treason” by Geoffrey Trease, set in Elizabethan England.
