Music plays an important role in the life of Charlotte House. All the girls from Nursery to Form VI benefit from lessons with our specialist teacher. The girls are encouraged to perform: throughout the year they are involved in a variety of concerts and productions in and out of school.
Singing is important and we have two choirs: Forms III and IV and Forms V and VI and a chamber choir.
The visiting peripatetic teachers are currently able to offer individual piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, guitar and singing lessons to girls in Form II and above. These incur a cost and the lessons are timetabled on a rotation system throughout the school day.
